My huband , Paul, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about 5 years ago. It has been a rich experience to journey with him through this labyrinth and I have been profoundly changed by it. It has uncovered layers of courage and patience within me which astonish me. At the same time it has honed my awareness of the searing pain of grief and the deepest joy of sharing simple, daily,ordinary things.
